The SAT is a standardized test administered by the College Board (a US-based non-profit company). The test is scored on a scale of 400-1600 with 400 being the lowest possible score and 1600 being a perfectĀ score. The SAT is a very crucial factor in college admissions so it is very important to begin preparing for the test early so you understand everything you needĀ to know on exam day.
TheĀ SAT has two main sections theĀ mathematics section and the reading and writing section. TheĀ test covers the following topics:

Problem-Solving and Data Analysis:Ā Ratios rates proportional relationships and units
Percentages One-variable data: distributions and measures of center and spread Two-variable data: models and scatter plots Probability and conditional probability Inference from sample statistics and margin of error Evaluating statistical claims observational studies and experiments (9)
Geometry and Trigonometry:Ā Area and volume formulas Lines angles and triangles Right triangles and trigonometry Circles (5)
READING AND WRITING
Information and Ideas:Ā Measures comprehension analysis and reasoning skills and knowledge and the ability to locate interpret evaluate and integrate information and ideas from texts and informational graphics (tables bar graphs and line graphs).
Craft and Structure:Ā Measures the comprehension vocabulary analysis synthesis and reasoning skills and knowledge needed to understand and use high-utility words and phrases in context evaluate texts rhetorically and make connections between topically related texts.
Expression of Ideas:Ā Measures the ability to revise texts to improve the effectiveness of written expression and to meet specific rhetorical goals.
Standard English Conventions:Ā Measures the ability to edit text to conform to core conventions of Standard English sentence structure usage and punctuation.
